Thomas The Train rolled into Billings!

On Sunday July 12th...Thomas The Train rolled into Billings. It was actually a 3 day event at the Billings Depot...but our day was Sunday. OUR ride, and when I say OUR, I mean Children of Autism, was Sunday at 5 pm. 100 tickets were "donated" for a ride on Thomas for Children & Families of Autism. It was an amazing thing to see all of the strong & brave families and even stronger children on that train. We are all in the same boat and it was such an amazing thing to feel the support that everyone had for each other.
Laura Simonson, being interviewed by Q2 News at the Thomas The Train Event. Laura is one of many Montana's Advocates for Autism. Montana was the 10th State to pass Legislation to ammend Health Insurance laws for children with Autism. We are one of only 14 states with this law! Our Bill became Brandon's Law on May 5th, 2009 named after Laura's son...Brandon Simonson. Now it is time push for Legislative action for a National Bill! Let's all fight to END Autism Insurance Descrimination NATIONALLY!

They had lots of fun events...Petting Zoo, Balloon Animals, Model Trains, Music, Coloring & Stamping, Games and Food. Above: Ryder gets his Thomas Tatoo.

Ryder is getting so so tall. He likes this picture because it looks like he is getting run over Emily.

Our P.L.A.Y. Coordinator Kelly was at the Thomas event. Kannin had not seen her in a month...but remembered her and jumped all over her. It was pretty cute.

Kannin staying cool with his second cup of pop...CAFFEINE FREE!!!
